Thank you

Without your support we couldn't continue fund raising and any help you can give us is very gratefully received.

Occasionally we get asked why we are not registered with the Charities Commission and reason for this is because we support more than one cause.

When we looked into registering we were told we couldn't unless we gave all the money we raise to the same charity - this wasn't what we wanted to do and wasn't what we were about as we also wanted to be able to give to local sick children as well as registered charities, so we chose to stay as a fund.

We have Trustees and two official bank accounts and providing we give all the money we raise for the purpose they were intended then we are operating within the Charities Commission remit.

Below are statements from two of our beneficiaries.

"Mrs Kath Morton and Sarah Palk, through Christopher’s Fund, are actively and voluntarily engaged in raising funds in aid of Edward’s Trust and are greatly aware through personal experience of the benefit of all we provide to families facing critical child illness and bereavement.

The events they plan and the fundraising they have undertaken have so far resulted in donations in excess of £14,000 to Edward’s Trust thereby ensuring that our vital work with families and children continues.

We are immensely grateful for their tireless and committed efforts on our behalf in memory of dear Christopher."

A statement from another of our beneficiaries.

"The Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) is actively involved in research into all cancers of children and young people. Donations received in memory of Christopher are being channelled to support our research into childhood brain tumours. By supporting Christopher's Fund, you can help our work in this area.
Despite their own loss, Christopher's family are working hard to raise funds to help other families. We are extremely grateful to them for their continuing support."
