A few more pictures showing you how we raise the money.
In the past we've done the local carnivals, Shackerstone Steam Fair, Cadeby Steam Fair, we had an annual Christmas fair in our local church hall which was the main fund raising event of the year and raised an average of £1,000 each time. We have a stall in our local shopping mall twice a year if we can.
My parents have had two open days in the garden which were really lovely and raised a lot of money.
Local coffee mornings, fun days. Infact any occasion where we think we can raise money we try to.
The most recent big event that we held was a charity evening in a local sports and social club where my daughter Katherine sang amongst other local musisians. It was a fantastic evening and there was a raffle hosted by celebrity Bill Maynard who was Claude Greengrass in ITV's Heartbeat.
We raised over £1,400 on the night and around £550 from sales of the
CD that Katherine made in memory of her brother.
